Steel may remain the stronger choice for extreme loads, long spans, high temperatures, compact structural depth, non-combustibility or where its mature reuse and recycling route dominates the project objectives.

A percentage saving is not credible without a defined project, quantities, installation method, exposure, maintenance plan and study period. The useful output is a transparent range with documented assumptions, not a universal claim.
