Technical document centre
Find the right technical route before using a datasheet.
Download published product datasheets, load and deflection information, and maintenance guides from our technical library. Match the document to the exact product, depth, resin and source being quoted; request technical confirmation where the published scope does not match your requirement.
Search technical resources
Filter by product family or search for a task such as load, span, installation, fixings, resin, CNC cutting or material properties.
Showing all technical routes
Load and span guidance
Use the preliminary calculator to organise clear span, applied load, surface route, depth and safety factor before requesting product-specific data.
Exact product datasheet
Request the sheet matching the quoted mesh type, panel depth, surface, resin system and source. Similar-looking panels must not share unverified load figures.
Profile selection and properties
Choose the likely profile shape, then request section properties and structural data for the exact size and resin being considered.
Handrail configuration and load route
Estimate rails and posts, review load classifications and identify when project standards or structural confirmation are needed.
Anti-slip product selection
Match covers, nosings, rung covers, strips and sheets to the existing substrate, traffic, exposure and required coverage.
Preparation and fixing guidance
Plan safe cutting, dust control, bearing, edge support, clips, drilling, sealing, substrate preparation and maintenance.
GRP behaviour and limitations
Understand corrosion, electrical, weight, thermal, fire, resin and environmental considerations before applying generic GRP benefits to a product.
Drawing-led preparation
Send dimensions or drawings for repeat panels, lengths, holes, notches and selected complex shapes. Include orientation, tolerances and supported edges.
Project-specific document pack
Ask for current certificates, resin statements, test evidence or compliance information against the exact quoted product and project requirement.
Use data from the exact quoted product
GRP products can vary in mesh geometry, bar construction, resin, weight, load capacity, deflection and test evidence. Use verified technical data for the exact product being quoted; figures from a different product should not be treated as GRP Express product performance unless technical equivalence has been confirmed.
How the document request works
Name the product
Give the product family, depth or profile size, surface, colour and quantity.
State the decision
Tell us whether the document is needed for load, resin, fire, chemical, installation or approval review.
Share the project basis
Include spans, loads, environment, standards, drawings and any required test criteria.
Receive the matched pack
The response can then be aligned to the actual quoted product rather than a generic GRP description.
Technical document questions
Why are generic load tables not enough?
Load performance changes with product geometry, depth, span direction, support and deflection criteria. Use the current data for the exact panel being supplied.
Can one grating datasheet be used for a different GRP product?
Not automatically. Load and performance data must relate to the exact product geometry, depth, resin system, construction and test evidence. Use verified data for the product being quoted.
What should I include in a datasheet request?
Send the product, dimensions, intended use, environment, loads, span, project standard and the approval question the document needs to answer.
Are the online calculators final design tools?
No. They structure an enquiry and support early routing. Final design and product selection require verified data and project-specific checks.
Can installation information be supplied with an order?
Yes. Identify the substrate, supports, fixing access, panel or profile type and any site constraints so the relevant guidance can be matched.
Can GRP Express support a technical submittal?
Technical documents can be coordinated around the quoted product and available supplier evidence. State the required schedule, standards and document list early.
Need the document that matches the quotation?
Send the product, project requirement and the decision the document needs to support. We will route the request to the correct technical information.
Using datasheets with product selection
Datasheets are most useful when paired with the exact product, variation, application and site condition. Check the product page and ask for support where the duty is controlled.
Find the product route
Start from the product family before comparing dimensions, grades and finishes.
GRP productsCompare technical data
Use material properties and datasheets together before making specification assumptions.
Material propertiesNeed a datasheet?
Send the product name, SKU and project requirement so the right document can be checked.
Request technical supportGRP technical datasheets, product data and certificates
Technical-document searches include GRP grating datasheet, fibreglass profile datasheet, GRP technical data, load tables, resin information, installation guidance and product evidence. Always use the current document for the exact quoted product; similarly named products can differ in geometry, resin and tested performance.
GRP technical submittal packs
A technical submittal may need the current datasheet, dimensions, load/span information, resin details, fire or slip evidence, fixing guidance, drawings and product identification for the exact quoted item. The required pack varies by project, so confirm the document schedule before relying on a generic brochure.
