GRP G Clips and Clamps for GRP grating installation

GRP GRATING FIXINGS

GRP G Clips and Clamps

Clamp-style fixings for securing GRP grating to supports.

What this fixing does

G clamps provide a practical retaining route where the fixing can engage the grating and supporting member without treating the panel as the structure.

Use it for

clamping compatible grating to an accessible support flange.

Do not treat it as

replacing support bearing, edge restraint or a verified fixing design.

Clips restrain grating; they do not replace structural bearing or correct an unsupported panel edge.

Selection checks before ordering

  • Confirm grating depth, mesh and clamp geometry.
  • Check support flange dimensions and access beneath.
  • Select suitable materials for the exposure and any dissimilar-metal contact.
  • Verify tightening, inspection and removal requirements.

For exposed or corrosive environments, confirm the fixing material and compatibility with the support structure. If details are uncertain, send photographs or a drawing with the grating depth and support dimensions.

GRP G Clips and Clamps FAQs

Can G clamps avoid drilling the grating panel?

Some clamp arrangements can secure compatible grating without drilling through the grating, but the exact clamp and support interface must be checked.

How many clips do I need?

The quantity depends on panel dimensions, support lines, perimeter edges, panel joints, uplift, vibration and project instructions. An ordering pack size is not a universal fixing layout.

Can I substitute another clip type?

Only after checking its purpose, geometry, materials, bolt or fastener, support interface and installation access against the actual grating system.
