The grating fixings customers actually need

Compare the three fixing families below, then select the exact product for your mesh, panel depth and support arrangement. The listed range includes 316/A4 stainless-steel options; check the individual listing for material, pack contents and compatibility.

M-Clips

Hold open-mesh grating down to compatible GRP profile or a suitable substrate. Select the specific depth and mesh option shown in the product listing.

Square Clips

Recessed hold-down plates for direct fixing to a suitable solid substrate. Separate options cover 25–38 mm and 50 mm standard mesh.

G-Clamps

Join adjacent open-mesh panels side by side. G-clamps are non-structural panel-to-panel fixings and are not a substitute for panel hold-down clips.

Packs of 8: confirm the fixing count

Many listed fixings are sold in packs of eight. Pack size is a buying unit, not a universal fixing layout for one panel. Confirm the required number and positions for the actual grating, supports and project, then calculate packs separately for each compatible fixing type.

Check what is included before adding a pack

A clip-only pack and a full assembly can have different contents. Confirm whether the listing includes the clip or plate, bolt, nut and washer, and whether a separate substrate fixing is required. Do not assume similar-looking products form an interchangeable kit.

Ordering example: if the approved schedule calls for 20 identical fixings and the selected item is sold in packs of eight, three packs provide 24 fixings. Record the four spare items separately; the pack calculation does not establish how many fixing points the panel needs.

Does the fixing pack include substrate anchors?

Can I mix clip components from different systems?
