FROM RESULT TO ORDER
Continue without rebuilding the schedule
The selected variation, stock-panel quantity, cut list, offcut preference and technical advice stay with the project.
Add the calculated full stock panels to your basket, or save the complete schedule in the secure Trade Pro Project Workspace.
CHECKED FABRICATION ROUTE
From cutting schedule to prepared GRP panels
The digital layout becomes a checked quotation and workshop schedule after product, dimensions, bearing direction, loading and drawings are confirmed.

TRADE PRO
Turn a calculation into a reusable project
Import longer schedules, compare panel strategies, store versions and move verified quantities into account pricing and repeat ordering.

WHY GEOMETRY MATTERS
Area alone cannot prove the pieces fit
- Kerf, trim and finished geometry change yield.
- Bearing direction can prevent a piece being rotated.
- A useful offcut may be worth more than a marginal waste reduction.
- A labelled plan improves quotation and workshop accuracy.
- Early optimisation can reduce unnecessary material and site cutting.
TECHNICAL CHECKPOINTS
Material use is not structural approval
Panel optimisation calculates material usage. It does not approve the structural performance of the installed floor.
QUESTIONS BEFORE CUTTING
Panel optimiser FAQs
What is the difference between the quick estimator and panel optimiser?
The quick route estimates panels for one rectangular area. The individual optimiser arranges referenced finished pieces and produces panel-by-panel layouts.
Can I enter several different cut sizes?
Yes. Public users can enter up to eight schedule rows with quantities. Trade Pro adds unlimited schedules and spreadsheet import.
Does the optimiser account for cutting-blade kerf?
Yes. The displayed planning kerf is added between placed pieces. The final workshop allowance is confirmed during quotation.
Can pieces be rotated to reduce waste?
Only where rotation is permitted and does not conflict with the declared bearing or load direction.
How does bearing direction affect the layout?
Directional pieces are aligned with the stock panel’s bearing direction. A conflicting or missing direction creates a technical warning.
Can I upload an Excel cutting list?
CSV/XLSX import is a Trade Pro feature. The public schedule remains fully usable for smaller projects.
Does the result include cutting charges?
No. Material pricing is shown only where the exact live product variation is verified. Cutting and finishing are confirmed in the quotation.
Can I keep the offcuts?
Record the preference with the quote. Reusable offcuts are identified geometrically, subject to handling and project confirmation.
Can I add the calculated panels directly to my basket?
Yes after the selected live variation and quantity have passed the basket connection check. Cut services still require quotation.
Is the cutting plan a structural calculation?
No. It is a material plan. Span, loading, supports, fixings and the installed arrangement require separate checks.
What happens if my pieces include notches or openings?
Mark the row for manual review and upload a drawing. The optimiser will not pretend an unmodelled complex shape is a rectangle.
What additional tools are available with a trade account?
Imports, unlimited rows, saved versions, strategy comparisons, detailed exports, account pricing, team sharing and repeat ordering.
